Rain
The Reading Corner, a Northern Kenya Conservation Clubs project, engages children with active storytelling. Rain by Manya Stojic explains how different animals react to the element of rain, a part of the water cycle. This book demonstrates that every animal has a different connection to rain. Even though the relationships with rain are different for each animal, rain plays a necessary role for survival in every animal’s life. At the end of the story the reader asks comprehension questions for the students to think about. This story connects to the lessons in the curriculum under https://www.mpalalive.org/classroom, about the environment and the human-wildlife connection. Specifically, Rain connects to Unit 4 Lesson 1: Water Cycle and  Unit 4 Lesson 4: Rain.
